Bob Weber Jr.'s Slylock Fox and Comics For Kids has been awarded a Parent's Choice Approval Commendation by the Parent's Choice Foundation. Distributed by King Features Syndicate, Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids appears daily and Sunday in close to 400 newspapers around the globe. It has a combined daily circulation of 17 million, making it the world's most successful kid's activity newspaper page. Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids is the first comic strip to be honored by the Parents' Choice Foundation.

Since 1978, the Parent's Choice Foundation has been the only not for-profit consumer guide to children's media. Parent's Choice annually reviews books, videos, toys, audio, video games, computer programs, television, magazines, comic publications, parenting material, online services, collectibles and mail-order catalogs of children's products. Among the organization's honorary advisory board members are Julie Andrews, LeVar Burton, Barbara Bush, Peggy Charren, Dom DeLuise, and Mister Fred Rogers.

Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids has used a bright, friendly cast of regular characters to teach and entertain young readers for 10 years. Cartoonist Bob Weber Jr. created super-sleuth Slylock Fox to challenge youngsters to solve visual mysteries, and the Pigglys to intrigue children with word and math games. In other segments of the feature, Weber teaches kids about nature, pet care, self-esteem and health. He also shows them step by step how to draw.

Each week, Weber publishes one drawing by a reader in the daily comic and one in the Sunday comic to regularly recognize the developing talents of his young fans.
